I'd like to think the author for being brave enough to talk about her deepest darkest places in order to express her truth. In order to help other with their secret struggles. I also want to thank her for the ending. The letter to the readers was everything I needed to hear to motivate me to accept who I am, and finish telling my truth. Our illness does not design our destiny. That is up to us. In order to do so we must be brace, and honest with ourselves. Thank you L Williams!Product details

great book
As a human being, youh meet people and assume to know them immediately. You judge action and create their character. However this book is the ultimate story of never judge a book by its cover. Bueatifly written it is an eye opener on taking a closer look at someone because they may have a story you can learn from. I was blessed to read this book and look forward to what will come next.
I wish I could give this book a hundred stars! A great read. A look into the truth about how difficult life can be for some children who are judged by other kids in school, no one having any idea the struggle of their home life. I was emotional reading and captured right in the first pages. I can't wait for the author to write more. I will be one of the first to purchase!!!!
What an amazing story of strength, courage, lessons, and commitment to survival. I was glued to this book throughout crying and cheering. Although raw and sometimes graphic I felt the authors story couldn't have been told differently. I am proud of L. Marie's victory and honesty. I would suggest this to anyone wanting to know what the real world is for many of our children. I am thankful for a happy ending.
Great book! Very emotional. No time is wasted . she gets right into it from ch 1. If she writes another one I will def be buying it.
I would like to thank Lisa for finding the words and the courage to tell her story.. May your story grow wings and live on to help others.. From the beginning you had me feeling all kinds of emotions. That's how I know, when a book has me.
